I’ve been dying to go on a “photography adventure” (as my daughter and I call them) ever since the seasons went through a noticeable shift a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, last week it pretty much rained all weekend, and even after it stopped raining, everything was all soggy and wet. Not ideal conditions for tromping around the forest preserve with two kids. But this weekend, it’s been absolutely gorgeous! Whod’ve thunk it would be nice enough to be running around in just a t-shirt and jeans this time of year? That’s Chicago weather for you. Three days from now it could be snowing…you just never know.
Here are the highlights from our beautiful, not-so-autumn-weather-like day….
In other news, lots of exciting stuff going on lately. I designed a fun event logo for a not-for-profit organization’s fundraiser, and some of my artwork is being used on a record in London. It’s not “officially” released yet, so you’ll have to wait just a bit longer for the details on that one! Don’t worry though, I’ll be sharing as soon as I can!
