My office job is linked so closely with the holidays, that this time of year instead of quiet and calm, we’re brimming with commotion, anxiety and stress. This is when you need to go home at the end of the day, retreat into yourself and just revel in the silence.
Silence is not a bad thing. Darkess is not a bad thing, because we cannot have light without it. Calm is not a bad thing. Reflection and quiet is not a bad thing.
Sit in the darkness. Feel it around you. Just remember, even in the darkest of darks, deep down in the center, you can always find a spark of Light. And that is something to celebrate.
