I’m an artist, designer, photographer, daydreamer and coffee junkie living in the Chicago ‘burbs with my awesome little family. I’m directionally challenged, but I know a ton of useless information (which only seems to be useful in bar trivia).
that I’m slightly obsessed with Alice in Wonderland, museums, micron pens, philosophy, tattoos, bookstores, being barefoot, sushi, the inter-web, forests, cooking, eating, interesting conversation, mandalas, animals, astronomy, stained glass, chai tea, ancient history, fractals, owls, frozen desserts, color theory, surrealism, old maps, Futurama, cult films, Mexican food, good beer, dark chocolate, clouds, stars, play-doh, theories, anything electric blue, kaleidoscopes, aimless wanderings, general weirdness, the sky, travel, oceans, mountains, comfy pants, and stealing my boyfriend’s hoodies. If any of the above gets you dorkishly excited, there’s a good chance we can be friends.
sickeningly I stumbled across this quote once, and although I can’t find a good source on who it came from, it pretty much sums up my entire philosophy about life:
“We are all a little weird and life’s a little weird, and when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall in mutual weirdness and call it love.”
